​In 1999, Farm Fresh Direct was founded in Monta Vista, Colorado. With a shared passion for feeding people, our founders consolidated 20+ small family potato farms in Colorado’s fertile San Luis Valley to produce a consistent supply of fresh potatoes to wholesalers and retailers of all sizes across the country, including Canada and Mexico. Farm Fresh Direct represents nearly 25% of the production in Colorado’s principal potato growing area and has additional key growing areas across the west, including northern California and Washington.

EXPANSIVE LOGISTIC NETWORK: As a grower and shipper, we recognize the need for stability in our transportation needs. Our long-time partnership with asset-based carrier, RE Garrison, positions our customers with access to over 1000 owned trucks and thousands more network trucks. Reliability is everything and priced at reasonable rates is mandatory. Our product is no good to our customers if it’s sitting at our dock. Together, we work to ensure you “on-time delivery” and “in-full service.”

TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS: From updating our storage which will help extend our crop season to printing dynamic information on Kwik-Loks and enhancing cyber security to keep vendor information safe, Farm Fresh Direct is always looking for ways to better serve our customers.

La Pasadera, which translates to “stepping stone,” is a Farm Fresh Direct program that was designed to provide extra support for our shed and farm employees, their dependents, and our community.
